Around the World In 60 Seconds

Slavery exists. No country goes without feeling the impact that slavery brings and the areas of it effects. Throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and North America slavery is a real life scenario for thousands, millions actually. An estimated 20.9 million people are trafficked around the world today.

Human trafficking occurs when an individual is coerced, tricked, or forced to enter commercial sex industry or forced labor against their will. What might begin as promises of love, protection, or a nice job to support the family quickly turns into a life controlled and manipulated by traffickers.

Trafficking is considered the second largest illegal activity in the world. We believe that God can end modern day slavery; take a minute and pray for those who have been devastated by this tragedy. If God is who He says He is (which He is) then we can pray with confidence that He hears us and moves when we pray.
